{ Purex Crystals ScentSplash - Your laundry will smell AMAZING! }

It always seems that out of the many chores that need to get done, tackling the laundry is always the hardest. Laundry truly never 'goes away' because the mountains of dirty clothes keep reappearing, even when I feel like I have done about five loads! Thankfully, the experience can be made better by using the new Purex Crystals ScentSplash in-wash fragrance booster!

The new liquid form of Purex Crystals is simply amazing! I received a free bottle of Purex Crystals ScentSplash thanks to Purex Insiders to facilitate my review. The scent that I received to try out was Fresh Spring Waters and it smells wonderful. It is easy to pour and you can use a little or a lot depending on how much scent you want. No matter how much you choose to put in your laundry, your clothes will always come out smelling fresh and this scent lasts for weeks!

Purex Crystals will certainly make doing laundry a little bit more fun now. I love that the scent stays with your clothes long after you wash them. Whenever you get dressed, the clothes smell just like they came right out of the dryer when you put them on! If you are looking for a product that is going to make your clothes smell great without an overwhelming scent, try out the new Purex Crystals Scent Splash. There are three great scents you can choose from - Fresh Mountain Breeze, Fresh Spring Waters and Fresh Lavender Blossom. Whatever scent you choose you definitely cannot go wrong.

Which scent would you choose to make your clothes smell great? Comment and let me know which scent is your favorite!

I received (1) bottle of Purex Crystals Scent Splash along with (3) coupons for (1) free bottle of Purex Crystals Scent Splash to either give to friends or give out in a giveaway. I chose the former. While I received the body wash and coupons for free from Purex Insiders, all opinions are my own

{ Dial Sugar Cane Husk Scrub Hand Soap - Luxury for your hands! }

I love that the spring season is finally upon us here where I live and that winter is over. I truthfully really only enjoy winter when we get the type of snows that shut everything down (like we have the past two winters). This past winter we had eight inches of snow one day and then another day we had eleven! That may not sound like a lot to some, but around here, we do not get snows like that very often.

One reason why I am glad winter is over is my skin gets so dry! It does not matter how much lotion I put on...it just always seems like the cold weather zaps any moisture right out of my skin! When I learned of the opportunity I had to try one of the NEW Dial 'Boutique Collection' hand soaps through Purex Insiders, I was very excited. The 'Boutique Collection' line has four new soaps that come in four different scents - Yellow Raspberry and Black Sugar (this sounds SO amazing), Water Blossoms, Coconut Lime Verbena and Sugar Cane Husk Scrub. I was sent a free bottle of the Sugar Cane Husk Scrub soap. Of course the first thing I noticed was the scent. It reminds me of the Warm Vanilla Sugar scent from Bath and Body Works. YUMMY! The bottles are designed in such a way where I have no problem displaying any of them throughout my home - whether that be my kitchen, bathroom or anywhere else I would need a hand soap. You could buy the four different color soaps and match them with the colors of the room you would place them in!

The other great feature that I noticed about this hand soap are the tiny 'micro-scrubbers' that exfoliate your skin as you wash your hands. You will not believe how much softer and cleaner your hands will feel with these micro-scrubbers moisturizing and gently removing dirt!  If Dial made this soap into a body wash, it would be a great exfoliate for your skin without irritating it like some scrubs do.

Dial has always been a brand my family has trusted. This new addition to the Dial family is no different. I really enjoyed using this soap and I would highly recommend it. The only feature I wish the soap had was I would love for it to be antibacterial. I believe this is important for a lot of people who are looking for a soap that cleans, moisturizes and gets rid of germs. I would love to give the other scents a try because I am sure they smell just as wonderful. Give the new Dial 'Boutique Collection' a go and let me know what scent you try out!

I received (1) bottle of Dial Sugar Cane Husk Scrub Hand Soap along with (3) coupons for (1) free bottle of Dial Hand Soap to either give to friends or give out in a giveaway. I chose the former. While I received the body wash and coupons for free from Purex Insiders, all opinions are my own

{ Dial Miracle Oil Body Wash - A Miracle For Your Skin! }

You know that moment when you come across a product that you instantly love one hundred percent? A product that you know you will be on future shopping lists? Well, that is how I felt when I had the opportunity to try out the new Dial Miracle Oil body wash thanks to Purex! I instantly fell in love with the way the body wash smelled. The only way I know how to describe the scent is it smells like sugar cookies and fresh flowers. It is the perfect combination of those two scents that make this body wash smell AMAZING. The best part is that the scent stays on your skin long after you have finished your shower. Not all body washes that have a great scent stick with you and stay on your skin. This one does and I could just bathe in it all the time!

Not only does this body wash smell amazing and the scent stick with you, it makes your skin feel so soft and moisturized. The key ingredient in the body wash that makes this possible is Marula Oil. I had never even heard of Marula Oil until I had the opportunity to try out this body wash. It is apparently used for all kinds of things, including in cosmetics and even as a cooking oil for food!

I always like how Dial puts a fact on the back of their body washes!

This body wash also does not affect my sensitive skin. This is very important to me because there are a lot of products I cannot use because of this. The moisturizing qualities of the Dial Miracle Oil body wash get the job done in a way that will not bother my sensitive skin. And now that winter is over with, I look forward to being able to moisturize my skin and for it to stay that way with this super moisturizing body wash. Now if I could just get this scent in a lotion or even a body spray...

You can find the Dial Miracle oil body wash at a local retailer near you and I encourage you to give it a try yourself. You will notice the great qualities this body wash has the first time you use it - the scent, the moisturizing qualities...you may end up not wanting to leave your shower because it smells so good!

I received (1) bottle of Dial Miracle Oil Body Wash along with (3) coupons for (1) free bottle of Dial Miracle Oil Body Wash to either give to friends or give out in a giveaway. I chose the former. While I received the body wash and coupons for free from Purex Insiders, all opinions are my own

{ Purex PowerShot - One dose and your laundry is done! }

My family has always been a Purex laundry detergent family. I grew up with my mother using Purex when she did our laundry and ever since I was old enough to do my own laundry, I've used Purex as well. It is so reasonably priced which is important to me since I coupon and am always on the hunt for the best bargain! Purex is also fantastic at fighting stains and is still gentle on clothes.

We just recently returned from our yearly vacation to Walt Disney World and when we got back, there was a ton of laundry to wash! Not only is the vacation over with...now we have to get all of our clothes washed and hung back up in the closet. A clear sign that we were back to reality!

When I received the opportunity to try a new, never before seen laundry detergent made by Purex, I was excited! I was certainly looking forward to the chance to try this product and it could not have arrived on my doorstep at a better time. I wanted to see if his new detergent would be up to the task of conquering the piles of laundry we had as its Purex predecessors have successfully done. The name of this new, not even on the shelves product? Purex Powershot Laundry Detergent!

What immediately caught my eye was how the bottle was designed. This is where the name 'PowerShot' name comes in. The design allows for one super concentrated dose of laundry detergent to be dispensed in the top of the bottle. This dose equates to one regularly sized load of laundry. If you have a larger load of laundry, simply add two doses of the detergent to your wash. Now you do not have to worry about how much detergent measure. This is such a great time saver and eliminates the need for exact measuring. The bottle is also easy to handle and lightweight making for an even better laundry process.

The Purex Powershot Laundry Detergent was successful in getting my family's clothes clean and worked like the Purex detergent I know and love. Having the 'measuring cap' built into the bottle is a major plus as we do not have to worry about spilling the detergent or getting it all over our hands! This is such an innovative product and I can definitely see it hitting the shelves and standing up to the laundry detergent competition. Purex is leading the way in creating innovative solutions for laundry. I would highly recommend this product as it gets the job done and makes laundry much, much easier!

I received (1) bottle of Purex Powershot Laundry detergent along with (3) coupons for (1) free bottle of Purex Powershot Laundry Detergent to either give to friends or give out in a giveaway. I chose the former. While I received the laundry detergent and coupons for free from Purex Insiders, all opinions are my own.

{ Dial Coconut Waters with Tropical Mango Body Wash }

My family and I have always enjoyed going on vacation together to Florida, whether it be to Disney World, Panama Beach or Clearwater. This year however, we decided to go somewhere different. We chose to visit Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. My family has actually been to Myrtle Beach before, but it has been many years. This is my first time visiting here and I have really enjoyed our visit. We decided to stay in North Myrtle Beach, which is about ten minutes away from all the action, but we are close enough - ten minutes! - if we want to drive into the main part. Being right on the beach is fantastic and seeing the ocean as soon as you wake up is just wonderful.

Now that I have gushed over loving the beach so much, I would love to tell you about the new Dial Coconut Water with Refreshing Mango body wash. When I received the Dial Coconut Water with Refreshing Mango body wash to review through Purex Insiders, I could not wait to try it out! I saved using it for when we left for our vacation because who would not want a coconut water with mango body wash experience while at the beach? The two scents are perfect for this! And just look at that photo of the beautiful waves rolling in for a picture perfect scene. I will definitely be reminiscing about it when I return to work in a little over a week!

Some people may not care what kind of body wash they use, or even think about what ingredients body washes have. However, if you are like me, there are several factors that I like for a body wash to have...the first one is it must not irritate my sensitive skin. As I have mentioned before on my blog, I have sensitive skin. I like when a product that I use caters to this and allows me to enjoy the product without it bothering my skin.  My skin gets irritated very easily, so I have to be careful about what I put on my skin. I had no issues with using this body wash and was pleased to find that I could use it without any problem.

See! I'm using the body wash but trying to conserve as much as I can so I can make it last ;) (I am also in love with the theme and decor of the place we are staying at...so pretty!)

The second factor a body wash must have is moisturizing qualities. Not only do I not want a it to irritate my skin, but I also need a body wash that hydrates and moisturizes. No one wants itchy or rough skin after taking a nice bath or shower! Dial Coconut Water with Refreshing Mango contains moisturizers that leave your skin feeling wonderful.

The third factor a body wash must have is that it must smell good and the scent must last long after you leave the bath. I have never been big on the taste of coconut, but I certainly do love the smell of it. I know as soon as I received the body wash, I tore into the box just so I could smell it! When you smell this body wash, you may or may not be instantly transported to a tropical island surrounded by coconut trees... ;) Dial Coconut Waters with Refreshing Mango leaves your skin smelling great and it stays on your skin for a good while!

I may be the only person who does this, but I always like to read the back of the bottles, whether it be shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. Something that I found interesting is that there was a fact about coconut water and it says "Coconut Water is found in young, green coconuts and known to be rich in antioxidants and electrolytes that help provide replenishing hydration." Coconut water is definitely a great, natural ingredient for you and your body!

You never know what you may read! I really enjoyed the fun fact.

I would certainly recommend this body wash if you are looking for one that moisturizes and has an amazing scent. Dial Coconut Water with Refreshing Mango is going to definitely become a staple in our household because I really enjoyed it. I am happy that I was able to use a great body wash that has refreshing scents and moisturizing qualities! And our vacation to Myrtle Beach is not bad either.. ;)

I received (1) bottle of Dial Coconut Waters with Refreshing Mango along with (3) coupons for (1) free bottle of Dial Coconut Waters with Refreshing Mango body wash to either give to friends or give out in a giveaway. I chose the former. While I received the body wash and coupons for free from Purex Insiders, all opinions are my own.

{ Coppertone ClearlySheer Sunscreen - 'Made with your skin in mind!' }

The official start of Summer 2014 is here and it is time to get outside and enjoy it! There is nothing like spending time with those you love doing something outside, such as going to a local water park or taking a vacation to the beach. My family and I just recently returned from a weekend getaway to Cincinnati, Ohio. It is under a two hour drive for us, so we have the nice getaway feel without being too far from home (we save those trips for Florida!). I was given the opportunity to try out the new Coppertone ClearlySheer Sunscreen and what great timing it was - right before we were getting ready to leave for Cincinnati. I knew we would be spending at least one day outside, so I packed up my Coppertone ClearlySheer Sunscreen to give it a go on our trip.

Our weekend trip took our family to spend a day, Friday, at the Newport Aquarium, which was a fantastic visit. It has been about ten years since I lasted visited there, so it was almost like it was a new experience for me. They have definitely built that area up around there and there are all kinds of shops and restaurants to check out. It is certainly worth a visit if you have never been to this area. My grandmother has never visited Newport Aquarium which I was shocked to learn! We knew we had some time to kill before we could check into our hotel, so this was a great opportunity to take a visit.

On Saturday, our family visited the Cincinnati Zoo. We had such gorgeous weather for this visit and everything worked out perfectly. This is where our Coppertone ClearlySheer Sunscreen got its first work out! ;) We spent several hours out in the sun seeing this amazing zoo. And the Coppertone sunscreen held up so well. One of the many important features I look for in a sunscreen is how high the SPF is. Obviously, the higher the better. This sunscreen had an SPF of 50, so that was wonderful. It lasted the entire time of our visit and at no time did I feel like I had to constantly reapply the sunscreen to make sure I was staying protected from the sun. Applying this sunscreen is such a breeze as well. It absorbs extremely fast so you can spray it as your about to walk out the door and not have to worry about waiting for it to sink in.

Wasn't it just such a gorgeous day?

On Sunday, the last day of our trip, we went to see the Cincinnati Reds take on the Toronto Blue Jays! We all know how hot a baseball game in the middle of June can be, so my family and I were sure to load up when applying the sunscreen. Another great feature about these sunscreens is the scent. Some sunscreens can have an awful, overpowering scent that makes you feel like your swimming in sunscreen. But not with Coppertone ClearlySheer Sunscreens! The scents include fresh fruit and a tropical fruit and flower fragrance. I honestly could not get over how well these sunscreens were scented. Also, as I have mentioned in previous posts, I have sensitive skin. I did not have any sort of reaction to this sunscreen. As the title says, this sunscreen is made with your skin in mind and will not clog pores or cause breakouts (and if you were wondering....yes, the Reds won! The icing on the cake that was a perfect weekend).

My family and I had a really wonderful weekend trip to Cincinnati, Ohio and having Coppertone ClearlySheer Sunscreen truly worked out well for our time spent in the sun. I highly recommend this sunscreen if you are looking for a fast absorbing, nicely scented and long lasting sunscreen. You won't have to constantly reapply and if you're spending time in the water, the sunscreen lasts eighty minutes! If you and your family are planning a trip for the weekend or a week long vacation somewhere, be sure to check out Coppertone ClearlySheer Sunscreen because it will give you the protection you need and want from the sun!

{ Four packages of Bounty paper towels for $3.82! }

One of the great things about being a couponer is having a stockpile at the ready for all the items you and your family use on a daily basis. Having a reasonable stockpile allows you to avoid the dreaded situation of running out of an item and going to the store to pay *GASP* full price! Paying full price just hurts too much - especially after you have been couponing for a while.

We are down to our last few rolls of paper towels, so I started looking out for a great deal to replenish my stockpile. This week, Rite Aid won the prize on having an AMAZING price on paper towels. Continue reading to find out how I scored four packages of brand name Bounty paper towels for only $3.82!

Here is the breakdown of what my purchase looked like. It is important to note that I had $13.00 in Up+ Rewards from a previous transaction, so not everyone will be able to repeat this transaction exactly. Some people may have more Up+ Rewards than I did making this an even better deal! The 12 roll packages were on sale for $9.99 and the single roll was on sale for $0.99. You were required to spend $30.00 on any P&G products and that total had to be reached BEFORE any coupons and sales tax, which is why I bought the single roll to get me over the $30.00 mark.

Three packages for $9.99 each = $29.97
One single role for $0.99 = $0.99
TOTAL: $30.96

Coupons used:
(4) $0.25/1 Bounty Towels or Napkin from P&G (expires 4/30)
Store Rewards:
$15.00 in store rewards from a previous transaction

$30.96 - $1.00 - $13.00 = $16.96 + $1.86 tax (6% in Kentucky) = $18.82, which is what I paid out of pocket.

There was also a special reward on my receipt that allowed me to either get a free one year magazine subscription, or receive a $5.00 reward in the form of a check. I obviously chose the $5.00. ;) After you factor in the $10.00 store reward I received for purchasing $30.00 of P&G and the $5.00 reward I will receive, my total was technically only $3.82! That makes each package of paper towels only $0.96! My total would have been $48.86 had there been  no sale, coupons, store rewards or $5.00 reward check.

Be sure to check out the Rite Aid weekly ad for great deals on the items you may need to get to replenish your stockpile!

If you have any questions about the above, please do not hesitate to contact me!

All opinions and words written in this post are mine. I was not compensated in any way by Rite Aid or Proctor and Gamble to write this post.

{ Tone Body Wash - Leaves your skin hydrated and smelling wonderful! }

I have always been the type of person to want to try out new products that come out - specifically beauty related products. Every time something new comes out on the market that interests me, I know there is most likely going to be a good value coupon that usually comes out about the same time, giving me the opportunity to either try it for free or at a great price. That way, if I buy it, try it out and do not end up liking it, I do not feel like I spent a fortune on something I only used once and did not like. However, this happens very rarely and more often than not I really enjoy the new products that I try. Such is the case with Tone Body Wash.

Tone Body Wash in 'Petal Soft' is a fantastic body wash in more ways than one. First off, I really like the packaging. The bottle is easy to pick up and hold in the shower, which may sound strange but I know it is an important feature to a lot of people. The lid snaps right open so you are not trying to finagle to get the bottle open. The design of the bottle is really pretty as well. Each scent of body wash has it's own color and design and I really like that.

The 'Petal Soft' scent body wash goes a long way - you only need a little bit to have your skin feeling wonderful and lightly scented. Another feature that I really liked about this body wash was that the scent stayed on my skin even after I left the shower. Many body washes do not do this, so this was a major bonus. I do not want to just smell the body wash when I am in the shower - I want to the scent to stay even when I am out! While the scent does last, it is not overpowering at the same time - also a major plus!

The 'Petal Soft' scent contains pink peony and rose oil with vitamin E, which contributes to my skin feeling soft and moisturized after I use it. It is hard not to think you are not at the spa because of it's hydrating qualities and wonderful scent. I have sensitive skin, so having a body wash that does not have an overpowering smell, yet still makes my skin feel good, is a must. Tone Body Wash in 'Petal Soft' definitely receives a ten out of ten from me!

I highly recommend that you give the Tone Body Wash line a try if you have not experienced it already. There are numerous scents to choose from - Vino Moisture (this one has crushed grapes (!), shea butter and vitamin E), Mango Splash, Oatmeal and Shea Butter and Ocean Therapy - just to name a few. It would be difficult to not find a scent you did not end up liking. 'What if I don't like body wash and prefer a bar of soap instead?' you may ask. Well, Tone has that covered! You can find all of these wonderful scents in a bar soap in addition to the body washes. Another plus for Tone!

If you do decide to try this body wash line out for the first time, or it is the current brand you use, or you have used it in the past, please let me know your thoughts. I am interested to hear about the other scents and if you had a spa experience like I did when I used Tone Body Wash!

{ Kroger Skillet Meals - On the table in no time at all }

Before you know it, the holidays are here. It has not even been Thanksgiving yet and the radio stations are already playing Christmas music...crazy, right?! And then comes to mind all of the things you must get accomplished before family and friends come over to celebrate the holidays. You are worried about what food you are going to serve, presents to buy and a myriad of other things you know you absolutely have to get done. In the craziness of the holidays, what are you supposed to do about the in-between meals? The meals that are leading up to the big day? Who wants to spend even more time in the kitchen trying to come up with something for dinner? This is where Kroger Skillet Meals come in.

Kroger Skillet Meals are the perfect answer to the dinners that fall on days that come between holidays. They take minimal time to prepare - they are ready to eat in just TEN minutes! TEN MINUTES! Now how many meals can you say accomplish that? There are several different flavors of skillet meals. These flavors include Tuscan-Style Penne, Chicken Fajitas, Sorrento-Style Gnocchi, Shrimp Lo Mein and Sausage Rigatoni. I decided on the Tuscan-Style Penne because it has one of my favorite vegetables in it - asparagus. Yum! The main ingredients for the Tuscan-Style Penne included grilled chicken breast, asparagus and sun-dried tomatoes in a roasted garlic cream sauce. I absolutely love anything that has garlic in it, so this was another reason why I was excited to try this flavor. All of the ingredients were very fresh and delicious - you would never even guess that the meal comes frozen. Each meal comes with two servings so it is the right amount for two people.

This meal was paired with a Kroger Salad Kit and Kroger Garlic Bread. The salad kit comes with everything I like to eat with my salad - dressing, cheese and bacon bits. There was enough for two people to have a nice sized salad. I just threw all of the ingredients into a salad bowl, mixed them together and let each person decide on how much dressing they wanted. I really enjoy having a salad with almost every meal, so having this kit was fantastic. The lettuce was already cut up, the cheese and bacon bits were ready to just be mixed in with the lettuce...delicious! The garlic bread was ready in ten minutes as well, which really pleased me. I thought maybe I was going to have to put it in the oven a few minutes before I started cooking the skillet meal, but no! Both items were ready at the same time. I am so used to spending at least thirty minutes, if not more, on preparing a dinner each night. The Kroger Skillet Meal and sides were absolutely refreshing and reminds me that yes, you can have a meal ready to eat in no time flat!

If you are looking for a quick meal that offers you ingredients that are delicious, ready in ten minutes and enjoyed by your entire family, look to Kroger Skillet Meals and sides. You will certainly make these staple items when you go grocery shopping!

Would you like to help those who are in need?

I hope that you will join me in participating in the 'Stamp Out Hunger!' event that occurs this Saturday - May 11, 2013.

It is so easy to just collect a few items for donation. Here's how you can help:

{ CVS Haul - April 25, 2013 }

Hello everyone! I have a new couponing shopping trip that I wanted to share with you. My  mom and I left work early last Thursday (April 25th) because she had a dentist appointment to go to. After I dropped her off, I went home (our dentist office is about 5 minutes from our house!) and changed out of my work clothes and grabbed my coupons for the CVS trip.

Let me tell you that going in the early afternoon is one of the best times to go. Hardly anyone is there and it's so much easier and less hectic then when I go after work. I wish I could have this arrangement all the time! I got in and got out without any issue. I truly love shopping at CVS. It is the best drug store to stop at in my opinion - for a plethora of reasons. But that's a post for another day...for now, on to the haul!

One of the many reasons I have enjoyed couponing is the fact that you have more of an opportunity to donate items. For me, it's either getting (a lot of the time for free!) a couple extra personal care items - like toothpaste - or even baby items, which is something that does not apply to my life at this time. However, I enjoy getting these things because I know someone out there will be able to use them. We have a box sitting next to our front door that is filled with items we donate and I am so thankful that the Lord brought couponing into my life...not only is my family saving money and getting what they need, but I am also able to contribute even a small amount to those in need.

Items purchased:
  • (3) packages of Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers - originally $12.99 each, on sale for $9.99 each
  • (1) package of Huggies Natural Care Wipes (3 packages together in 1 bag) - $5.99
  • (1) Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation in Nude - $13.79
  • (1) Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste - $2.99
Coupons used:
  • (3) $2.50/1 Huggies Little Movers Slip on Diapers
  • No coupons for the wipes - the $1 coupon I was going to use was gone by the time I went to print it. However, I had a $5 extra buck that I applied to this item.
  • No coupons for the makeup, but I had $7 in extra bucks to apply to this item.
  • (1) .50/1 Crest toothpaste
  • (1) $3.00/$15.00 baby purchase - CVS Coupon Machine coupon
  • 25% off coupon emailed to me that I loaded to my card (excluded sale items, so it applied to my makeup) and this took off $3.45
There is also a Kimberly-Clark rebate that I used towards the purchase of the diapers and wipes. If you buy $35 worth of participating items, you can submit for a $10 rebate. If you buy $25 worth of items, you can submit for a $5 rebate. I qualified for the $10 one. (You can find the Kimberly-Clark rebate here.

Total before coupons, sales, extra bucks and rebates would have been: $64.54

Total out of pocket: $29.25

After applying the $16 in extra bucks and the $10.00 rebate, my total is technically: $3.25 or .54 cents for each item!

{ 'Ibetta' you want some cash back! }

I know we all like to earn cash back on the items we buy. If you sign up for a credit card through your bank (and your bank offers it), you can get cash back on gas, groceries or other items. While these options are nice, there is a new way to get cash back within the app world! This is where Ibotta comes in!

Ibotta is a FREE app that you can download onto your smartphone (Android and iPhone) and even your iPad that allows you to get cash back on the groceries and other items you buy.

How does it work?

First, you will want to download the app. Did I mention it is FREE? Next, you will want to sign up for an account. It's very simple and takes only a few minutes. You can either do so through your Facebook account, or your email - whichever you prefer.

After you sign up for an account, start going through the various offers and click on items you know you will buy. Do this by clicking on the pink "Earn [insert amount]" button below the items.

When you click on an offer, there can be two to three 'tasks' you complete in order for you to earn the cash back amount. These 'tasks' can range from taking a poll such as "When was the last time you bought this product?" and it will give you four options. Other tasks include sharing it on Facebook or watching a quick video. You have to complete all of the offers in order to receive the full cash back amount, but if you only want to complete one or two offers that works as well. As you complete the tasks, the amount you have to redeem will appear at the bottom of your screen.

Now it is time to go shopping! Yes, you can pair coupons with the items you added to your Ibotta list. You will still earn the full amount (based on how many tasks you completed) and the coupon will not affect the cash back offer. Make sure you keep your receipt handy because you will need it to submit to receive your cash back!

Taking a picture of your receipt is extremely simple and even has an option to 'add a section' if your receipt is very long. Simply place the receipt on a flat surface and snap a picture of the entire thing, or only a small section if you have a bigger receipt. If you have a bigger receipt, simply hit 'add a section' and it will save all the pictures you snap of your receipt. Please be aware you have to take pictures of your ENTIRE receipt - not just of the sections that have your redeemable items!

The second part of verification involves you scanning the bar code of the item(s) you bought. After this, you're done! Just hit submit and you will receive your notification of cash back fairly soon if everything is verified and you followed all of these steps. I submitted my first transaction and not even an hour later I had my cash back! You can have the money transferred at any time to a PayPal account or you can donate it to a school. It's that simple and it's that fast! I highly recommend it!

The more you use this app the more personalized the offers become. As soon as you submit a receipt and it's verified, new offers will pop up in the place of the redeemed offers.

Ibotta is just another great way to save even more on the items you purchase!

I was not compensated for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
